Next Level Now is a campaign initiative designed to elevate the Grand Rapids First campus to greater levels of excellence and impact.
This initiative runs for 31 weeks, from June 1 to December 31, 2025, and will fund essential updates across our campus. It includes a new maintenance building, the renovation of the Prayer Chapel, upgrades to the Kids First Auditorium and lobby area, and more.
A brand-new maintenance building will serve both practical and ministry-driven purposes. This new construction will provide essential space to store maintenance equipment and service our ministry vehicles, ensuring our campus operations remain efficient and well-supported. Additionally, it will create a dedicated area for compassion-focused services, including providing our widows and single moms with oil changes and basic car care. This facility will be more than a building; it will become a ministry, service, and stewardship tool.
The Prayer Chapel will be transformed into The Chapel—a beautifully renovated space designed to host weddings and special ministry events. The renovation will elevate the room’s design and functionality while creating an elegant, modern, and versatile environment.
The Kids First Auditorium and Lobby will receive exciting updates to create a more engaging and effective environment. Improvements will include room acoustic treatment, sound system upgrades, new screens, fresh lighting, and essential infrastructure upgrades. These changes will help create a dynamic and welcoming space where our kids can learn about Jesus in a fun, safe, and irresistible setting.
As part of our commitment to serving the community, our facility is a Red Cross Shelter-in-Place location in the event of a natural disaster or weather emergency. To better support this role, we will update the locker rooms to ensure they are functional, safe, and equipped to accommodate individuals and families during times of crisis.
