Young at Heart is our senior adult ministry, designed to meet the spiritual and relational needs of our seniors. We focus on providing serving opportunities, a great time of fellowship together—renewing old friendships and making new ones.
There are many opportunities to fellowship and engage that take place throughout the year. Our annual Spring Sing is where you can have an enjoyable time of fellowship highlighted by a sing-along of some of your favorite hymns. The annual trip to Maranatha Conference Center in Muskegon for the Buffet and Concert is a ministry favorite. Holiday gatherings for Christmas and sometimes Valentine’s Day are always an enjoyable treat!
We also provide numerous opportunities to serve our church home and community. Recently we hosted an on-site Ice Cream Social at four different assisted living facilities within our community and helped with several Servant Evangelism events throughout the year. There are many opportunities to be involved with like-interest groups such as reading, prayer walkers or perhaps you would like to start one. Don’t wait, get connected!
