Encore is a group of people ages 50+ desiring connection and activity with others in their same season of life. We offer multiple events, serving opportunities and small groups to encourage friendships inside and outside of the church.
Encore hosts several fun events throughout the year that keep us active and continually engaged with one another such as holiday gatherings, game nights and comedy shows. Significant living is necessary. Encore has a community-minded heart with an eternal focus. We owe it to the Lord and to ourselves to purposefully seek out opportunities to grow in our relationship with God and one another. Together let us find those specific and unique ways we can contribute to our church family and community.
My wife, Sharon, and I would love to have you join us at Encore. When you do, you’ll notice two things right away: first, that I married way out of my league and secondly, that we’re going to have fun together! Encore is for those over 50 who know that this time of our lives can be characterized by daring to do some more great things for Christ. We gather together throughout the year for times of fun, encouragement and fellowship, and we purposefully plan these events to be great places to invite your friends. There are lots of other opportunities to meet in small groups and also to invest ourselves in various kinds of service and ministry. This generation is often caring for our parents and our grandchildren at the same time, so we also work to equip and encourage you in these challenging situations. Join us in Encore.
