- This event has passed.
- March 7
- 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Please note, the March child dedication is full. Our next dedication will be May 13.
We at Kids First Nursery join you in celebrating your child, God’s gift!
Please prayerfully consider dedicating your baby to the Lord similar to the way
Jesus was presented at the temple in Luke 2. Baby dedication is not a “baptism.”
It is, however, a parental promise before the Lord to raise this child in a godly, Christ-centered home.
Child Dedication is available to Grand Rapids First members and regular attenders.
An orientation will take place typically the week before the dedication.
You will be contacted about the orientation details.
We invite you and your guests to a cake reception immediately following the Child Dedication.
Please let us know an approximate number of guests you expect so that we can plan accordingly.
Pastor Sam requests that parents select a verse of scripture that is especially meaningful to the life of each child.
This verse will be projected on the screen as your child is dedicated.
The verse may be something that the Lord has given you in the past or something that you want to begin to speak into your child’s life.
Below are some scripture suggestions.
Should you choose a different verse, please provide the scripture reference and which version of the Bible you are using.
We look forward to seeing you at orientation.
